This tab displays the found ID3 tags:

If such a tag in one of the versions 1.0 or 1.1 is found, it is displayed in the first sub-tab with all its simple fields in immediate display.

As this informal standard allows multiple versions to coexist in the same file in differing versions, the most common scenario is that an old v1.x version is present at the end of the file in combination with the more modern v2.2 or v2.3 variant at the beginning. The version v2.4 allows such a tag to be located at the end of the file again:

The tabs for v2.x versions allow access to each individual field as it is found in the tag. Selecting such a field in the list at the left will display its content in the area on the right, together with a description of its purpose as it is defined in the informal standard.

Unsupported fields will be shown in form of a HEX dump for content inspection.
